Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,  I would prefer to use the 2 m.2 drives currently configured in raid 0 as 2 separate drives ( 1 for o.s. and apps, the other as scratch disk and project render) .  What is the safest way to go about it ?
creating a recovery disk and booting to usb ? ....anything special to change in bios?  Or do I need to download from Microsoft an installation image ?  If so, will my original windows 10 license be still valid ?

thanks in advance for any info

With Raid 0, your data was segmented into "stripes" when it was written to the two drives, so as far as I know, apart from copying personal files to an external drive, there is no way to "convert" what you have now to use a single volume.

You have to disable RAID in the BIOS, and once you do that, Windows won't be able to read either drive anymore.

So, you should use the information below to create HP Recovery media from the cloud on a USB stick and use that to restore your PC to working condition.

If your PC is a 2016 model or newer, you should see if you can make a bootable USB recovery drive using the HP cloud recovery tool on a working PC.

The recovery drive can then be used to install Win10 and the HP drivers and utilities that originally came with your PC.
