Sorry for the inconvenience caused and don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

 

  • Did the system freeze completely, or is the progress bar still moving very slowly?
  • Were there any error messages before it got stuck?
  • Is your laptop plugged into power continuously during the update?

Here are a few steps you can try safely:

  1. Check for activity: Press Caps Lock or Num Lock if the indicator light responds, the system isn’t fully frozen.
  2. Restart in Safe Mode: Hold the power button until the laptop shuts down, then restart and press F11 or Esc repeatedly to access recovery options. From there, try booting into Safe Mode.
  3. Run Windows Update Troubleshooter: Once you’re back in Windows, search for Troubleshoot settings → Windows Update and run the tool.
  4. Free up disk space: Updates can stall if storage is low. Check that you have at least 20GB free.
