HP EliteBook 840 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I frequently open several Excel workbooks at the same time.  Often some are very large, 50+MB.  I have 16 GB RAM on my 840 G3, but it often bogs down on simple Excel commands (e.g. filtering or changing a column of text to numbers).  Would I benefit by having 32GB RAM?

thanks @Soybean_Doc

Thanks for the processor ID.

I just wanted to make sure on the memory limit of the CPU.

The max for that CPU then is 16GB.

Your manual says:

Supports up to 32 GB of system RAM (mobile workstation)

Your manual here:

Look at page 2.
