I did all as you said. What is this supposed to do? Are there any more steps?

HP Recommended

Did you get any error message?

Before you reboot, make sure that Legacy is disabled and you run in UEFI

Reboot and see

No error message. I managed to reboot to Windows. Do I have to turn off Legacy Boot Order in Boot Options? Because here in my case both UEFI Boot Order and Legacy Boot Order are already selected.

Ok, thank you for help. So, should I leave both UEFI boot order and Legacy boot order selected, or should I disable Legacy?

HP Recommended

You can disable Legacy and don't forget that you are running in UEFI Mode

Edit: In the bcdboot command I selected de-de as locale Here the right location/language is to be selected.

But that can be changed later by bcdedit commands

I turned Legacy off and now can't boot to windows 😞

It shows automatic repair message and "Startup Repair couldn't repair your PC".

HP Recommended

strange, so go back to the setting before

I turned like it was before but I still get the same message, automatic repair, attempting repairs and in the end it fails. Is there a way to troubleshoot this?

HP Recommended

Same procedure

bcdboot c:\windows /l de-de /s B: /f UEFI

was my country setting

I don't know what your Location/Language is.

If you have a second computer type bcdedit in cmd (admin)and look for locale in the 5th line
