I have the same issue. I created a usb of Ubuntu and loaded it on the laptop. However, my hard drive does not appear. I had switched secure boot to disabled and legacy to enabled. Can you give me any advice on how to access my hard drive so I can try to save some of my files? Thanks for the help.

Hi @IT_WinSec,
I want to let you know that I managed to reinstall Windows on my laptop, and it is working. However, after installing everything again, I found some issues (don't know if they caused my system to crash). My battery is dead, it is blinking orange light when charging. I also have a problem with Win Update, showing this message: "A current driver on your PC may be better than the driver we're trying to install. We'll keep trying to install."
I want to say that before my system crashed I had an error with installing the newest update, but this time, after reinstalling Windows, it installed normally.
I would really appreciate if you could help me avoid this issue happening again.
Many thanks for your guidance and help. This time I paused any further updates 🙂

Hi @dittocmv Chris,
If you are able to boot/load Ubuntu, then you do not need to adjust Secure Boot, Legacy mode, etc - you are already in... If the drive cannot be found, it may not be detected by the operating system. Did you perform F2 hardware scan ? What was the result ? Your HDD might be dead. Let me know how it goes
