Hi!
I had preinstalled W11 and tried to install Linux Mint from USB Flesh. Installing failed (
Then I tried to repeat the attempt and this time no hard disk (SSD) was found. According to the advice I tried to enable Legacy support in BIOS. Unfortunately, this option is absent. Then I tried to reinstall W11. During installation, no disks were found and it asked about the drivers (as I understood RST VMD driver was needed). I tried to find the driver at https://support.hp.com/
but for my notebook, there are no RST VMD drivers. What is more, the specified driver from intel.com (The Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) Driver (18.7.6.1010.3)) did not suit. 'It is not compatible with this computer's hardware'.
So on turning on my laptop showing an error message of "Boot device not found. Hard disk 3F0".
Please advice, what can be done to fix the problem. Thanks.

Thank you Banhlen for your response,
I have followed 'Official Guide to fix' you provided.
1. Restored BIOS default settings
2. Tried to update BIOS (Updating the BIOS manually from a USB flash drive (outside of Windows)) - not successful, because
there is no 'Firmware Management or BIOS Management' in the Hardware Diagnostics UEFI menu (step 5 of
"Update the BIOS with a USB flash drive").
3. Tried to Perform the hard drive symptom test in HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI. The Hard disk check said 'No storage installed. Please check that the power and data cables are connected properly' (I bought my notebook 1 week ago only and preinstalled W11 worked seemed properly)
4. Reinstall Windows on the hard drive does not work for me as I wrote before It asked RST VMD driver and it is not provided for my notebook on hp.com unfortunately (drivers for other versions of HP Pavilion 15 do not suit my computer's hardware it said).
Taking into consideration the above is there any solution? Thank you.
Best regards
