HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Base Model Tower PC
Microsoft Windows 11

I inserted a Ubit WiFi Card, Three-Band 3000Mbps WiFi 6 AX3000 PCIe WiFi Card with Bluetooth 5.2

into my HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Tower. Now it won't start and there are now 4 flashing lignts (POST?). I have removed the card, but the PC still won't start and the red blinking lights continue to flash.

What can I do?

Thanks

Hi:

Your PC has some kind of power problem.

See the troubleshooting guide at the link below, Appendix A on page 58 for how to troubleshoot the 4-beep code error.

Thank you but I found that. The problem is that it doesn't actually say is what I can do - other than replace all the power board and or system board. For example, is there a reset button? At the moment, all I seem to be able to do is take it to a repair shop.

You're very welcome.

If you have gone through the recommend troubleshooting steps, I don't know what else to tell you.

Either the power supply went bad or the motherboard went bad.
