My Laptop shuts down when i plug in the laptop. It seems fine going off it's internal battery but as soon as I plug it in after a couple of seconds everything goes black. it then either restarts or shuts down completely and I have to hold the power button to force restart it. I tried updating everything, running a diagnostic through windows startup using F2, and doing a diagnostic using the HP app (when I ran it it says the battery check was cancelled).

I see that you are facing battery issue.

 

Request you to please click on this link and follow the steps to test the battery.

 

If there is a failure ID, I request you to share the Failure ID with us.
