Product: HP Gaming Pavilion - 17-cd0526na
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
There was a cumulative update for windows called 2020-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64-based Systems. Each time I try to install it there is an error. The virtual assistant hasn't come up with anthing that has helped and so now i want to know if anyone else has had this issue and how can I fix it?

When a Windows Update fails, it usually generates an error -- which you can then search for on the Net and see suggested solutions.
You need to go into Windows Update --> History to find the update that failed and see the error code.
