I have an error of unknown device ACPI\HPIC0003\3&11583659&0
on my notebook - HP 340S G7, s/n (personal information removed), 9TX20EA#ACB
Go to Solution.
I have zipped up and attached the driver you need for that device, below.
You will need to manually install the driver as follows...
Go to the device manager.
Click on the unknown ACPI\HPIC0003 device needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver.
Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option, and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.
Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver will install.
Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file which shows driver support for the hardware ID you posted...
[Manufacturer]%Mfg% = HP, ntamd64, ntx86
;======================= Device Install x64 Section ========================
[HP.ntamd64]%DeviceDesc% = hpcustomcapdriver_Install.ntamd64, ACPI\HPIC0003%DeviceDesc% = hpcustomcapdriver_Install.ntamd64, ACPI\HPIC000C
