Product: Elitebook 840 G6
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

While going through the Windows services, I discovered the AMD Log Service in the list.

I have an Intel CPU and GPU, so NO AMD devices.

 

Does anyone know why this tool is there?

Can I disable it?

AMD has MANY services to run on Windows platform. Your machine has Intel processors BUT Windows still uses some services for 64bit technology which are invented and owned by AMD. 

 

HP does nothing with that. Hope that helps.
