HP Pavilion dv7-6175us
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

An old laptop, the old AMD driver used to work. Recently I had to rearrange the system. Now clean WINDOWS 7 max. I installed the intel drivers first, they got up and the graphics control panel started working. But as soon as I start installing AMD drivers, the screen flashes and an infinitely black background with a flashing white stripe appears. I tried different versions of drivers, both old and new. Every time through AMD cleanup utility. Nothing helps. AMD support team advised you to contact the laptop manufacturer. Can you provide me with the necessary driver?I can provide msinfo32 and dxdiag files

Hi:

On notebooks with the Intel/AMD switchable graphics, you should never install the standalone Intel graphics adapter driver.

That driver is only for the notebooks that have the onboard Intel graphics adapter, not the Intel/AMD switchable graphics.

It appears that HP has retired driver support for your notebook since it is more than 10 years old.

This reputable 3rd party driver website has the Intel/AMD switchable graphics driver you need.

This AMD graphics driver is a custom driver that installs both the Intel and AMD GPU's, and it cannot be updated.
