Trying to use a bootable stick to do a fresh install of W10 22h2 on this model. It has AMD 8840u chipset and the W10 iso I use on the stick needs storage driver. Sofar unable to find at Hp and amd. AMD has raid drivers but tried them unsuccessfully. Do these drivers exist, or will I have to give that up?

Solved with this workaround: Created a 'custom' W10 22h2 iso with https://uupdump.net/ and made a bootable usb-stick with Rufus. Now it detects the nvme ssd hd in this model. Case can be put to rest!

Hi @Doane68,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
understand you're trying to reinstall Windows 10 22H2 on your PC using a flash drive but are facing some difficulties. To ensure a smooth installation, I recommend using a 32GB USB flash drive, formatting it, and then installing the Windows 10 ISO from the link.
Please give it a try and let me know if you need any further assistance
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Thank you for your reply!
The Cloud Recovery Tool has only W11 to use on this model. I would like to install W10 22h2 but a storage driver is missing and it is not available from hp or amd. Maybe it is just not possible anymore and there is not and will not be driver-support for this?

Hi @Doane68,
Thank you for reaching out!
We understand that you would like to install Windows 10 (22H2) on your device; however, the HP Cloud Recovery Tool currently provides only Windows 11 for your model. Unfortunately, in this situation, we have to check if Windows 10 is available or not, hence we would request you to please help me with the Pc serial number so we can try to check and find more help with the device
Let me know

Thank you!
Serial number is: CND4151DCT.
I called hp support and they said that W10 is supported on this model, but i should ask MS if they support W10 on this model....MS said to circle back to hp or amd....;)
