Hello..!
i newly bought an HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop with Ryzen CPU which is r5-3550h for educational purposes, when i tried installing Linux OS on in (All Distributions) i have the same error which is "AMD-VI unable to write to IOMMU perf counter", i really searched a lot in all communities i know, finally it goes on no where.. :(((
i'm so disappointed and don't know what should i do
i'll appreciate your help :)))))

hey bro, i searched too much about that.. finally i got the answer
this message (tge title of the post) appears on all kind of laptops or PCs, but that ia not the reason why doesn't linux installation complete..
the reason is that HP doesn't support any kind of drivers for linux.. thats is so disappointing..
i saw another post here in HP forum where they told that, unfortunately.
don't buy any new HP pavilion, x360 or even envy laptops with intel or amd processor.. with neither nvidia nor amd graphics.. beacuse they finally will not operate any distro of linux.. even if there is a distro operates, it will have massive issues.. go to Dell or Lenovo.. they are so much better than HP in this field.
