hello friends

my HPSA shows as BIOS update to f 27 waiting in the list

i have paused it ,similarly window update also shows HP Inc firmware update , I have paused that also

i am literally scarred to update firmware....

@ASHOK_KUMAR Here's the thing you need to know about BIOS and any update for that matter, my friend,

You only install them when you've been experiencing a certain issue that needs to be fixed, for example, when you click on the details section of the bios for your device: click here to view 

 

You should see that list of fixes it accommodates, if that fix isn't what you need at the moment, you do not have to upgrade your BIOS,

Also, in your case, if you need improved security, just ensure your UPS is on, there are no interruptions in anyway during the upgrade and everything should be okay.

What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: click here

(Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.)

 

Meanwhile, I must let you know that you have nothing to worry about, if you have a working internet and an UPS (so the device update isn't interrupted by anything), and if you need help in updating BIOS: Click here for steps.

 thx for the reply

my laptop product  no is  5AY25PA#ACJ

previously there was an automatic bios update before 6 months and i let it install and the fan ran at maximum speed while flashing [SCARED]and there was no problem...

i formatted the laptop few weeks back and the same HP Inc firmware update is waiting in the list....

do formatting the windows will reverse the firmware[BIOS]
