Envy M6 Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When logging on, I get AccelerometerSt.exe system error.  The program can't start because VCRUNTIME 140.dll is missing from your computer.  I have read several posts and find 3 different posts that say to remove 3D Drive Guard, but have listed 3 different sp number exe to install.  Can you please help?

Interesting.

Well, if that is what it is asking you to do, then I guess that you will need to do it.

Either that, or you can just see what happens if you install the new software over the old software.

it might work that way.

Hi:

See if installing this version works for you...Restart the PC after installing the driver.

Do I have to unstall the 3D drive Guard first?

HP Recommended

Yes, I would do that first, restart the PC and then install the driver I posted.

I am new to Windows 10, so hope I can figure this out.

Go to the windows control panel>Programs>uninstall a program.

Find the 3D driveguard software listed there, select uninstall and then restart the PC after the uninstall is complete.

It asks me --do you want app to update software on your PC?  Program N-9345msi----Yes or No---should I say Yes or NO?????

HP Recommended

Unfortunately, I have no idea what that is.

Are you getting that message when you go to uninstall the 3D driveguard software?

Are you getting that message after you run the updated 3D driveguard driver?

HP Recommended

When I try to uninstall 3D Drive Guard.
