Hi,
Try the following.
Open windows Control Panel, open Programs and Features, right click the entry for HP 3D DriveGuard and select Uninstall.
When this has completed, restart the notebook.
When windows has reloaded, download and install the version of HP 3D DriveGuard on the following link.

Try this driver: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/obtainSoftware?url=687474703A2F2F6674702E68702E636F6D2F707...
Or some HP 3D DriveGuard driver from other new model notebook.
Thats work for me.

Noted other people's challenge with the above error but the posted solutions refer to a 3D HP Program which is not shown on my list of programs so I am unclear on what program is causing the above error message to come on every time I start up the computer.
Any suggestions would be appreciated to remove this irritant.
Thanks
Mitt
