Can you please guide me how can I reinstall Windows Manually using ISO images of Windows downloader ?
1st way > Contact local HP Support team >> http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html
Ask them if they can provide you with recovery media (recovery USB) for your PC model
If they can, they will ship you a recovery USB pendrive. You can boot from it and use it to reinstall Windows if necessary.
Once you have this USB drive, here is how to use it >> http://hp.dezide.com/ts/start.jsp?guide=HPSystemRecovery.net§ion=ccweb&sfs=tdoc&lc=en&language=e...
Another way / 2nd way (cheaper and faster way, slightly more difficult from technical point of view) >>
You can directly download Windows 10 ISO from MS site or download >>> Media creation tool from Microsoft site, create installation DVD or installation USB and proceed with clean installation/reinstallation.
Google for "Windows 10 Media Creation tool), run the tool and prepare a USB pen drive with Windows 10 installation. You will need 1 USB thumbdrive (at least 4 GB capacity or bigger). Make sure you select the correct Windows 10 edition - e.g. Windows 10 Home
When ready with the USB drive or with the DVD:
* Enter BIIOS (F10)
* Ensure Secure Boot is disabled.
* Ensure Legacy mode is enabled.
* Save the UEFI/BIOS changes.
Details>> http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03653226
Eventually, please, shutdown the computer using the power button.
Insert the Windows USB thumdrive prepared previously
Power on the PC.
As soon as you press the power-on button, immediately start hitting the Esc button (like tap-tap-tap).
This should open a HP Startup Menu
Choose F9 to open Boot options. Select the USB HDD or USB thumb drive as a boot option.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows 10
Delete all existing partitions and install Windows on Disk 0 Unallocated space
Post - install
1) Install drivers taken from HP web site when Win installation completes or via Windows Update/Device Manager >> http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03330139
2) Activate Windows 10
There are several ways to activate Windows 10 - in your case specifically - and it depends on the way it was activated initially. Here they are:
1) Most likely Windows will detect your key inside the BIOS and will activate itself automatically
2) Activation using Microsoft account - Digital license - starting with Anniversary update built from last year, if you used MS account to login to the PC and if you enabled a special option, you no longer need a license key to activate your Windows - just login and use your Microsoft account - here is more info

Make sure add a MS Account and that you login to Windows 10 and use the function prior to reinstalling Windows (Settings > Update and Security > Activation)

Not possible, I am afraid.
If you do not experience any problems now, I recommend you take no actions.
Hope this works for you. Let me know if any questions.

Hello @TALwinDER_hp
Welcome to the HP Support forum. Thank you for posting.
I am afraid there is no way for you to recovery the recovery partition once it has been deleted. In case you need to restore your PC to factory default settings your options are to:
- use HP Recovery media (original HP media)
or
- reinstall Windows yourself using ISO images of Windows downloader from Microsoft website.
Do you need to reinstall Windows now ? Do you need assistance how to obtain HP Recovery media or how to reinstall Windows ?

I tried the second alternative, installing with fresh ISO images of Windows downloader from Microsoft website, but mid installation it tells me that it "could not verify the signature of the file". No offence, but how sure are you that this technique really works?
My BIOS settings are on point.
Sincerely, Alba

Hi Alba @AlbatrossPasta
Thank you for posting in the HP Support forum.
No worries, I know it (2nd method) works because:
- The technique was first explained to me in 2015 by a Microsoft employee
- The technique has been tested several times by me (personally)
- The method has been used by other users here in the forum several times and they all confirmed it works
- It is not a secret and can be found online
With regards to your error, please try to re-start the entire operation from scratch - a.k.a. format the drive, re-download the Microsoft tool, the ISO, etc.... Ensure stable internet connectivity.
Let me know how it goes. By the way, what are your issues exactly and why do you need to reinstall Windows ?

I have tried:
*Recreating the installation media on another USB drive
*Deleting the keys in the BIOS
*Reformatting the drive and try again
The reason i come to question your technique is that it is not mentioned anywhere in the official trouble shooting guide, and it does not (yet) work for me. Have you seen any examples of this working with win10? The computer in question is a HP pavilion.
Thank you for your time, Alba
