I deleted my old account and added a new account, then I put it in the House mode, my computer was blocked. "sign in" on screen. the password was said by tersam error. does not open at all. please help. laptop brand Hp Victus

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your HP Victus laptop. If you've recently set up a new account and are now unable to access your computer, there could be a few possible reasons for this issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the problem.

 

Check Your Password Carefully: Ensure that you're entering the correct password for your new account. Passwords are case-sensitive, so make sure that you're using the correct capitalization.

Caps Lock and Num Lock: Double-check if the Caps Lock or Num Lock keys are turned on, as this can cause issues when entering passwords. These keys can be found on your keyboard and might have indicator lights to show their status.

 

Password Reset: If you're certain you're entering the correct password and it's still not working, you may need to reset your password. You can do this by following the steps below:

 

a. On the login screen, click on the "I forgot my password" or "Reset password" link if available. This will typically guide you through the process of resetting your password via email or a security question.

b. If you have associated an email address with your new account, you should receive instructions on how to reset your password. Follow these instructions to create a new password.

 

Safe Mode: If resetting the password doesn't work and you're still unable to log in, you can try booting your laptop into Safe Mode. Here's how:

 

a. Turn off your laptop completely.

b. Turn it back on and repeatedly press the "F8" key before the Windows logo appears. This should bring up the Advanced Boot Options menu.

c. Select "Safe Mode with Networking" from the menu.

d. Once in Safe Mode, you may be able to access your account and perform further troubleshooting.

 

System Restore: If you have recently made changes to your system and are unable to access your computer, you can try a System Restore to revert your system back to a previous state. This can be done from within Safe Mode.
