HP Spectre x360 - 13t-aw000 CTO

Hello Everyone,

Few years back I had purchased Hp Spectre notebook, I also had purchased Windows 10 Pro with it. Since it was digitally activated i did not have the key.

Recently I met an accident and somehow my Hp Spectre stopped working. I went to the service center and they replaced my mother board.

Now the device is with me, and is working fine, but after installing windows, it does not digitally activate my windows, and shows 'not genuine error '

Earlier I had created an account in HP (hp.com) and registered my device there, but I had not liked my Microsoft account on login.

I want to somehow transfer the old digital license to new motherboard, but i can't figure out how.

Please help

Others know more about this than I do, so they might chime in here -- but I don't believe YOU can  do what you want -- because the product key is embedded into the firmware of the motherboard and when you changed motherboards, you basically threw away the license, and (as far as I know), HP will not issue you another one.

You will need to contact the Service Center where the work was done because only THEY can transfer the license;  There is nothing we here can do for you about this.
