I would like to activate windows but my product key sticker has been scratched and i cant see the code. I have already checked my bios and used software and no luck. This computer came preinstalled with windows 7 and I reinstalled it.
Also i cant get it to work wirelessly i have to use ethernet.

Hi:
Unfortunately, no one will be able to help you activate Windows.
HP does not maintain any records of product keys installed on their PC's and if the key is unreadable, I don't see where there is anything you can do.
Here is the wifi driver you need though...
This package contains drivers required to enable functionality of the Intel Wireless LAN adapter on supported notebooks with supported operating systems.

If you want to invest some money, you can order a recovery kit for your notebook from this vendor at the link below.
You can contact them first, and confirm that you won't need to use a product key to activate windows before you make your purchase.
You shouldn't need a key, but check with them first.
