El equipo dejó de funcionar luego de una actualización de BIOS automática distribuida por HP, sin intervención de nuestra parte. Lo cual corresponde a un fallo de software oficial que inutilizó el hardware. ¿Se puede solicitar una revisión bajo la política de responsabilidad extendida por daños causados por actualizaciones automáticas del fabricante aunque la garantía expiró?

The device stopped working after an automatic BIOS update distributed by HP, without any intervention on our part. This appears to be a failure caused by official software that rendered the hardware unusable. Could this case be reviewed under HP's extended responsibility policy for damages resulting from automatic manufacturer updates, even though the warranty has expired?
