Administrator not set up

Good day

I recently purchased a new laptop for my son. I created my son as the main user and made him the Administrator. However, later on, I removed him as the administrator, but did not activate/create an administrator account or passsord. As a result, I can't install any applications as the laptop is asking for an administrator user name and password. What are my options?
