I DO NOT CARE IF I DAMAGE OR EFFECT MY DIVICE .
How do i get into the advance bios for my laptop, why you may ask? Because i want to lower the vram of my AMD VEGA 10 integrated graphics, I don't use it often and it takes up 2 precious gigabytes of my ram.

if you cant tell me or if it doesn't exist, tell me of another way to do it.  Other than "it will damage your device" which mind you, is out and expired of your useless and expensive warrantee. I do not need some Microsoft forum on  WHY  this happens, i want a solution, I WANT THIS FIXED.

It is unnecessary for HP to make  it hard for people to fix or optimize their PC, even if HP "optimized" my pc already, taking 2GB of ram from a GAMING LAPTOP WITH DISCRETE GRAPHICS  does not look very optimized.

Hi @Calvin5933102

Welcome to the HP Support Community. Thanks for bringing this to our notice.

I see that you want to lower the VRAM of your AMD VEGA 10 integrated graphics on your system. We can look into it for you.

I recommend you follow the below steps to reduce the video dedicated memory.

Method 1:

Go to the Start menu and click  Settings. Navigate to System and click Display on the left sidebar of the System Settings.

Scroll down the Display menu and click on the option Display adapter properties at the bottom of the box.

In a new pop-up window, you will see the adapter type used on your system and other graphics information in the Adapter tab. Check the total amount of allocated space for the dedicated video RAM under Adapter information and you can change it according to your preference.

Method 2: Increase the dedicated video memory on your graphics card from BIOS:

If you are not able to access advanced mode, please note that HP does not recommend making any changes in the BIOS as this might damage the Product and that is the reason it is hidden from the BIOS.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
