When I go to Control Panel > Power Option it shows balanced performance. I would like to change that to maximum performance (my notebook is plugged in 98% of the time). In previous PCs I had an option for processor performance but this PC does not offer that option.
How to I get to change the performance (alrady have maximum performance set id settings> power & Battery > power mode

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... and I would like to help you.

Updating the BIOS is recommended as standard maintenance of the computer. It can also help resolve the following issues:
- An available BIOS update resolves a specific issue or improves computer performance.
- The current BIOS does not support a hardware component or a Windows upgrade.
- HP Support recommends installing a specific BIOS update.

Yes, I went to control panel>power Options and then created a new power plan and there was no option for processor performance. All the same choices I had before I installed all of the drivers
