HP notebook 15-DB0051OD
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

So I updated Bios on my laptop and immediately after doing that it would randomly shut off about 10 minutes after log in or as it’s turning on. I read it may have been because the bios did not install completely. So I went to the bios reboot that you access before startup using “windows” key + B  and successfully rebooted the bios as well as the CMOs  from another screen and now it lets me log in and run a few programs  for a while, up to 20 minutes now but then just shuts off.

I have gone through your post and I appreciate all your efforts and expertise in troubleshooting this issue

Since the Notebook is still shutting Off after the BIOS Recovery, I suggest you run an Extensive System Test and let me know if the Notebook shuts down

- Shut down the Notebook completely
- Turn it back on, then tap the Esc key repeatedly until the Startup menu screen is displayed.
- Press F2 to select System Diagnostics.
- Click System Tests, then click Extensive Test.
