Internet explorer is not working

I have downloaded Internet explorer 11 and installed properly but it is not working. I am unable to see Internet explorer app in my laptop .

Hi:

IE 11 comes built in with W10.

There should have been no need to download it.

I find IE11 in my W10 PC"s by clicking on the little magnifying glass next to the windows icon, type internet explorer and it will show up as an app.

If you use it a lot, pin it to the taskbar for easy access.

Yes but it working through Microsoft Edge . It is not internet explorer ..I click on internet explorer and it is showing Microsoft edge.

If you don't want to set IE 11 as the default, that is a new thing that is happening.

Microsoft is forcing you to use Edge on webpages that don't work right on IE 11.

The same thing happens to me.  I open IE and Edge shows up.

But the IE 11 tab should be open next to that Edge window.
