Greetings,
I was running a HP BIOS update on a HP Spectre x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15-eb1043dx [Product:1M8F0UA] that after a few minutes of running, the machine stopped and gave this message:
Next, I downloaded the BIOS Recovery Update to a USB flash drive. On another machine, I ran the USB recovery update to create recovery files on the USB Flash drive. On the problematic machine, the recovery update began to run and about 1 minute in, the machine stopped and shut down suddenly. Then machine would not boot afterward. It seemed like the motherboard isn't getting any power. When the laptop is plugged into the wall socket, the led power light in the laptop's power button normally fluoresces. But in this case didn't. Please advise. I need to know the exact procedures specific to this model that would allow me to:
(1.) Reset the CMOS
(2.) Reset the BIOS.
The Virtual Assistant didn't help me with this situation.
Sincerely,
Extremely Frustrated
,
