Hi @Xepher_Glitch,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your HP laptop. It can be frustrating when your computer doesn't work as expected. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem.

Check Wi-Fi Connection:

  • Ensure that your Wi-Fi is indeed working by connecting to other websites or services. Sometimes, it may be a temporary network issue.

Restart Your Computer:

  • Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve software glitches. Try restarting your laptop and see if the issue persists.

Check Windows Update Settings:

  • Open "Settings" > "Update & Security" > "Windows Update."
  • Click on "Check for updates" and let it search for updates.
  • If it finds updates, install them. Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi while doing this.

Update Wi-Fi Drivers:

  • Outdated or corrupt Wi-Fi drivers can cause connectivity issues. Go to the HP website, find your laptop's model, and download the latest Wi-Fi drivers. Install them and restart your computer.

Run Windows Troubleshooters:

  • Windows has built-in troubleshooters that can help identify and fix common issues. You can access them by going to "Settings" > "Update & Security" > "Troubleshoot."

Reset Network Settings:

  • If the Wi-Fi issue persists, you can try resetting network settings by going to "Settings" > "Network & Internet" > "Status" > "Network reset." This will remove all network adapters and set them back to their default settings. Afterward, you'll need to reconnect to your Wi-Fi network.

Check for Malware:

  • Malware can disrupt network connectivity. Run a full system scan with your antivirus software to ensure your system is clean.

Check for Third-Party Firewall/Security Software:

  • Third-party firewall or security software can sometimes block network connections. Temporarily disable such software to see if it's causing the issue.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
