- I'm real close to just giving up and just buying a new laptop so this is my last ditch effort. It says that I have low disk space and there is about 300 MB left in my storage, I can't update WIndows because of this. I have tried so many things to clear up some space but nothing has worked. I have storage sense on, everything moves online after 1 day, I remove temporary files everyday, I've moved all the files that don't seem like they're part of the operating system to an external hard drive, I've deleted almost every app that I can except Netflix, google chrome, and microsoft word. I've looked up ways to free up space but nothing seems to work.
- My screen glitches randomly, more often when I'm using Word or Chrome and recently the screen will just go completely black like its off but there will still be noise and the light on the side says its on. My only option to get it back on is to force a shut down.
- Sometimes it won't turn on and theres a soft high pitch beep when I press the power button.
- All I want to do is play Sims 4 which is downloaded to my external hard drive but now that won't work even though it used to. I've only had this laptop for a year. Please help me, I'm a broke college student.

You bought an entry-level laptop that comes with a single 32GB memory stick configured to act as a "disk drive" -- and since Windows takes up a lot of space and leaves junk lying around after the weekly Windows Updates, you run out of useful space real fast.
Here are some things you can do to recover some of the disk space:

Also, the community Win10 Forums has the following suggestions:

In addition, I have found the utility Cleanmgr+ to have LOTS of options for removing Windows junk, including log files. I use it practically every day. You can get it from here:

Also, there is a freeware app known as Wise Disk Cleaner. I use it every day to get rid of junk files: https://www.wisecleaner.com/wise-disk-cleaner.html
