Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)
Yesterday I tried partitioning my disk D and I could not do it and I shut down the machine until this morning when I try booting the machine the only thing that appears on the screen is "An operating system was not found. Try disconnecting any drives that do not contain an operating system.

Hi,

What is the full model name, product number of your laptop?

What is the installed operating system?

Please perform extensive hard drive and memory tests from System Diagnostics BIOS/UEFI by tapping F2 or ESC key as soon as you power on laptop.

Let it complete. Report back with results.

If everything PASSED, please do a repair install of Windows: https://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/26095-repair-install-windows-8-a.html
