Hi there,
I have an hp pavilion desktop p6-2303. Recently, I faced with an hardware problem and got my pc repaired. But during the repair the fixer couldn't saved my win8. Instead he installed a 32bit win 7 which is upgraded to win10. But I think it prevents my 64bit processor to work with more performance. Is there anyway to get my 64 bit win8 OEM key back? My pc telling me that there's no key in the motherboard.
Thank you.

Hi, @themasterchief
If the PC was upgraded to W10 32 bit from W7 32 bit, you can reinstall W10 64 bit for free as follows...
Make a bootable USB installation flash drive using the media creation tool at the link below. Make the 64 bit installation media.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
If you are asked to enter a product key during the installation process, select the 'I don't have a product key' option, and W10 x64 will install and automatically activate once you are connected to the internet.

Hi
ShowKeyPlus from the Microsoft Store (probably the best choice).
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/showkeyplus/9pkvzcprx9nv?activetab=pivot:overviewtab
The output is like this....
ShowKeyPlus - Windows Product Key Information
Product Name: Windows 10 Home
Version: 12345.678 (64-bit OS)
Product ID: 00000-00000-00000-AAOEM
Installed Key: 12345-67890-09876-54321
OEM Key: MICRO-SOFTY-WINDO-WSTEN-64BIT
OEM Edition: Win 10 RTM Core OEM:DM
ALSO
KeyFinderInstaller may help.…
It gives this…. – CD Key: 12345-67890-09876-54321
ELSE
There is a possibility of finding the same value in the Registry....
USING RegEdit the key is listed below and it’s content also shown.
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform
BackupProductKeyDefault 12345-67890-09876-54321
Three different names for the same value in 3 different software methods.

Hi
Since W8.x is a Lo-Cost/No-Cost option it should have been re-installed.

Hi
I don't understand.
You asked....
"Is there anyway to get my 64 bit win8 retail key back?"
My best solution is...
You download and run the link for the "show key plus" write down on the back of an old envelope all/any keys it gives you.
OR
You take the whole thing back to the repairer and get them to install at NO COST W8.x as it was.

https://www.wikihow.com/Reinstall-Windows-8.1
I don't know what you ultimately want to achieve.
Install a 64 bit version of Windows 7
Install a 64 bit version of Windows 8
or something else.
