Repeated failure to update Windows 10 Pro (64 bit System) - Laptop is great and almost 3 years old.
2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441)
Install Error - 0x80070643

Microsoft info says need at least 250MB spare memory in WinRE partition.
That partition on my laptop is 512MB but seems to be substantially in use ... and the main partition is bitlocked.
Don't know how to increase the partition ... am reasonably savvy but this specific aspect is not my forte ... Any advice of others who have experienced this issue and / or have a suggested solution would be appreciated ... Cheers, Wayne,
Also just recently, have a problem with the display screen blacking out (1-2 sec duration) randomly, sometimes frequently?? Only started this in past month or so. Ideas??

I've had this same issue. I tried to increase the size of the partition and I got an error stating that "you may not extend OEM, ESP, or Recovery Partitions". I also tried to update my WinRe enviornment and encountered an error there as well, stating that an error occured while trying to open the update file. I'm thinking maybe I need to download the file before I execute the command, but I don't know how to resolve this yet.
