Product name: HP ProBook 640 G2

While I was watching a lecture, I decided to charge my laptop. At that time, a pen drive (which is completely virus free) was inserted in my laptop. As soon as I plugged in my charger inside the laptop, it suddenly blacked out. No error messages, nothing. I've tried turning it on but it isn't happening. The power button is not even lighting up. What am I supposed to do in this situation? I'm not even aware of the full features and functions of a laptop since I'm a new laptop user.
