Hi there, just trying to fix my computer had tried every way now stuck with loop of automatic repair then freeze and all over again, had tried system recovery and restore but froze during process, now I can't even get to Recovery Menu Its get froze during the process back to the Automatic Repair Loop Froze and Restart Loop. I had tried to do Fast and Extensive Check Fast Check was passed but Extensive check was show as Memory Extensive Check : SOFTWARE ERROR. I had tried already to install window through USB but stuck in loading Froze then back the square one. Is there any step to fix this issue ?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Did you make any changes to the settings of your PC prior to the issue?
- Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
- Have you made any hardware/software changes?
While you respond to that, let's try these steps:
Firstly, perform Hard Reset: Follow steps from the link: https://hp.care/2GnkMa8. (do not skip any troubleshooting steps even if you feel steps are repeating)
Next BIOS default: (if the computer doesn't start up/power on you can skip the next step)
- Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
- Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
- On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
- Press F10 to Save and Exit.
- Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
- Follow the prompts to restart your computer. If the issue persists...
The last thing I can suggest trying to restore the computer back to the factory settings. Performing an HP system recovery (Windows ) While doing the recovery there is an option to backup your personal files. If you have not previously done one now is a good time.
Restoring Files that were Backed Up Using HP Recovery Manager (Windows )You can also contact HP support for assistance. They can remotely access your system to help alleviate difficulties: www.hp.com/contacthp/
The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.

- Click here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c06162205 to Use the HP Cloud Recovery Tool (Windows 10)
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi Echo_Lake
I had tried your solution provided but unfortunately I had tried every solution there is now keep coming back to the loop, also tried to install new window with USB and the screen freeze after loading circle appear then back to Preparing Automatic Repair then Freeze again. Is there any solution for hard factory reset combination there is to do it. I also had tried to go to Recovery System, got to the loading screen and got freeze then come back to Preparing Automatic Repair. Also I haven't put in any hardware to device and the latest Window Update is on 22/02/2020 and computer blacked out since 27/02/2020. The only options I can go now is F1 System Information, F2 System Diagnosis, F9 Boot Device Options BUT AFTER CHOOSE BOOT DEVICE FREEZE AFTER HP LOADING SCREEN.
