Automatic Repair Loop

My sons laptop 

Pavilion Gaming 15-dk2000 Laptop PC (2P1Z8AV)

is stuck in Preparing Automatic Repair (waited over 24 hours).

I can't get into troubleshoot menu even with a usb with windows11 installation media.

I've run the diagnostic extended version and everything passed.

If I try F11 it says wait then after a few minutes says "Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart" Stop code:DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG(0x1D5) then shuts down.

If I start without pressing any buttons i get the Bitlocker Recovery screen, enter the key, press continue and I'm back at Preparing Automatic Repair.

Can any one help either fix or reset please?

Probably an OS corruption since diagnostics pass.

See of SFC or DISM can help

SFC and DISM are both tools that scan and repair corrupted system files. However, SFC uses a cached version of the files, while DISM uses the internet to download and fix the files.

Try the SFC first and if it gives a message that it cannot fix the problem then try the DISM tool.

You may want to remove bitlocker by  using windows powershell as explained here. if there is a chance the recovery key may be lost

See if the HPSA recommends any updates

Because I can only access command prompt from my USB (X:) do i need to change the sfc command?

You need to run

sfc /scannow /offbootdir=C:\ /offwindir=C:\Windows

 since you are in the recovery environment

However, windows may not be in C depending on how many partitions and disk drive you have

See if you  can find the folder named "windows"

look here

dir c:\windows

dir d:\windows

etc

this might be helpful if the above is not confusing enough

I don't know if it's because of Bitlocker or Raid but when I've followed internet help, there are no partitions or folders showing
