Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

Firstly, let's check whether the computer might be infected by a virus or malware.

Step 1: Turn on a firewall

  1. Using the search box on the taskbar, search for and open Control Panel.

  2. Make sure View by is set to Category.

  3. Click System and Security.

    System and Security

  4. Select Security and Maintenance from the list.

    Security and Maintenance

  5. Check the message under Review recent messages and resolve problems.

    • If the message is No issues have been detected by Security and Maintenance, security settings are up to date.

    • If a security alert displays, click Turn on now to activate the firewall.

      Turn on the firewall

Step 2: Check your virus scanner software for correct configuration:

Open the security software by clicking the software icon on the system tray area of the Windows taskbar.

  1. Move the mouse pointer along the lower right corner of the Windows desktop, hover over the icons near the clock, and then read the text above each icon to find the security software icon. You might need to expand the system tray to display hidden icons.

  2. Right-click the security icon to open the security software and examine more options.

Thank you for posting back.

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. I would suggest performing system factory reset will put the computer back to the original factory settings in this way all corrupted and outdated software will be removed.

While doing the recovery there is an option to back up your personal files. If you have not previously done one now is a good time.

Restoring Files that were Backed Up Using HP Recovery Manager (Windows )You can also contact HP support for assistance. They can remotely access your system to help alleviate difficulties: www.hp.com/contacthp/

The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
