I just bought a laptop.The model is hp probook 450 g5, but I'm unable to enable the virtualization because it keeps asking for the BIOS password which I don't know.  How do I reset this and enable virtualization please?

@OLADISEA,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

You will need to contact HP to request assistance with resetting or retrieving the BIOS password. Please note that they may require proof of ownership or other information to confirm that you are authorized to access the device.

To contact HP for BIOS password assistance, you can follow these steps:
1.) Go to the HP Support website at https://www.support.hp.com/us-en/

2.) Select "Contact Support" at the top of the page.
3.) Choose the product for which you need support.
4.) Select the "Software, Drivers, and Firmware" category.
5.) Click on "BIOS and System Firmware."
6.) Scroll down and select "Contact HP Support."
7.) Choose the preferred method of contact, such as phone or chat support.
8.) Follow the instructions provided by the HP support representative to retrieve your BIOS password.

Alternatively, you can call HP customer support directly and explain your situation to them. In a perfect world, they may guide you through the process of resetting or recovering your BIOS password.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
