Welcome to the HP Support Community @bobbyjacabson

HP does not capture or retain any BIOS password data, so HP cannot recover your local BIOS Password.

HP can remove the Password via a service of the Notebook.

You can contact HP Support to set this up.

Contact HP Worldwide:  https://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

Options vary depending on location and warranty status (Service fee may apply)

That's odd

Oh, I meant to say code. I've gotten a password reset code in the past and that's what I meant to say, and not password.
