Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

trying to rollback my BIOS to a previous BIOS f61 version due to experiencing another performance hit with the latest BIOS f65.

Therefore I'm grabbing an older BIOS installer from the download page and chose the copy BIOS to file option. Both files XXXXX.bin and XXXXX.s12 are then copied to a proper FAT32 formatted flash drive. Next step is entering Firmware Management under HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI. There I go for the rollback option and chose my BIOS file XXXXX.bin from the flash drive. But instead flashing it only gives me an error.

The system BIOS rollback failed. Unable to open Signature file.

Neither this is a bug or HP is not providing proper BIOS files.

However, it is unacceptable that HP seems artificial slowing down my notebook.
