I wrongly updated the bios with the incorrect update, since then opnly black screen, no blinking lights, i tried the combination kets windows key "b" key the "v" key i tried everything i could find..... Still black screen no beeps just a simple power light and thats it i tried the usb recovery, i tried the bios recovewry i took the board out of the body in attempt to find some type of jumper i could locate it... should i just replace the bios and ive searched exactly where is the bios on this machine, [personal info removed] serial; 6nu57ua#aba prodid; hp 17-ca0056nr; rmn tpn-1134.
I believe these are all the numbers to describe what machine this is. please help. also if i need to purchase another bios can you please explain which one. thanks a bunch and happy new year

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
Firstly, remove the hard drive from the computer. Once the hard drive is removed turn on the computer without the hard drive- While booting as the computer doesn’t detect a hard drive so it’ll automatically rollback to the previous bios.
Put the HDD back in and turn it ON. It might give an error about improper shutdown. Just click continue and it should boot to windows.
