Product: HP ENVY 15-j002ex Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

A few months ago, my son decided to upgrade the BIOS on his HP laptop. Somehow he was able to install a BIOS of a different model... The laptop model is a HP ENVY TouchSmart 17-j178ca and somehow he installed the BIOS of a HP ENVY 15-j002ex. Now, a number of previously available features stopped working... (headphone sound, fingerprint detect, etc)...
I've already tried to install the correct BIOS, but get a message saying that it is a BIOS for a different computer... 😞 

The upgrade message I get is:  

     "The System BIOS ujpdate failed!" 

    Unable to Open BIOS image file

Anyway to fix this?
