BIOS Update Error - - "ESP-Disk Space Not Enough!" ?

ESP stands for EFI System Partition, which is a very small partition (yours is most likely 260 MB) on the hard drive/ssd drive. It contains not only Windows boot system but also HP diagnostic tool and bios update utility, which is used when a bios update is attempted from within Windows. Evidently your efi partition doesn't have enough space for the bios update utility to work on the update.

 

A workaround is to create a bios update usb flash drive and run it from Firmware Management of F2 PC Diagnostics UEFI. The usb drive contains bios update utility in the \HP_TOOLS\Hewlett-Packard\BIOSUpdate folder hence doesn't have to use the update utility in efi partition. 

 

See the post below, where the author had the same problem as yours but was able to update bios using this method. Click the link in his first post and go to the "Update the BIOS Manually from a USB Flash Drive (Outside of Windows)" for detailed instructions.
