HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC (Product #C8F10AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've conducted a "Reset PC" to my notebook back to factory state (whew!).  I've checked to make sure I have the latest updates using the update links in Windows 10 and HP Support Assistant software.  So far both stated that my computer is up to date.  HOWEVER, When I wanted to re-install and download software that is dedicated to my laptop per the dedicated product support website, I noticed that there is a BIOS Update (F28 Rev. A).  My current BIOS is F28 with a release date of 3/14/17.  This new F28A has a release date of 3/23/17.  Should I upgrade DESPITE the the HP Support Assistant update link DID NOT advise me of any new updates?

Welcome to HP Support Community

Only update drivers that are suggested by HP Support Assistant since HPSA will look for drivers that are required and specific to your Model

The other F28A BIOS might be for some other HP Pavilion 15 Models.

Thank you 😊

Ah, got it.  So I'll let the HPSA software to "tell me" that I need this update.  I'll leave the BIOS to F28 then and wont upgrade it.  Thanks for the info.
