Hello to everyone. my laptop downloaded and installed a new BIOS version Insyde F.40 rev. A from the previous version Insyde F.35. It booted normally after upgrading the BIOS. Upon checking at the "Device Manage" the BIOS working is still the Insyde F.35 version (no change). I repeated the process of upgrading several times but was still unsuccessful. I stopped already after these attempts for fear that I may end up with a broken BIOS and my device becomes unusable. May I ask, is there anybody from the community who experienced the same and eventually found a solution in the end? Thank you!

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help.
Please let us know why you wanted to upgrade the BIOS?
Also, let us know the current Operating System and any changes made to it.
Thanks 🙂
