I have an old HP ENVY Notebook- 17-n102no. Product number P1R71EA. Serial number [edited]. PC sticker Produsct number no: PIR71EA#UUW.
PC charges the battery when power off or when PC is in sleep mode. PC does not charge in normal operation mode. Charging light goes out the same second when the Power button is turned on.

My idea is to update the BIOS. The problem is now, HP support does not recognize the serial number. I can't get to support and I can't download the BIOS.
In addition, I have installed a PC Linux Mint and multiboot. Linux and WIN10. Linux tomii and F10 opens the BIOS. After installation, the WIN10 password changed by itself. Now I can't log in to windows.
Now Windows does not work, the update should be done another way.

HP has retired support for the model series since it is more than 10 years old which is why you can't find any drivers for it.

Below are the info and exe links to the latest BIOS update I could find for the ENVY Notebook 17-n100 model series with the Intel processors (F.52):

Watch these videos for how to create and use a BIOS recovery flash drive with the W10 BIOS file.

You will need to use another Windows PC to make the USB BIOS recovery drive with.
