HP Notebook - 15-da0007tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Notebook recently has updated to the latest version of Windows 10 21H2 (64 bit), but my BIOS version is still the old version which is Insyde F.07. I search the Hp Support website to find the latest update software and driver, but my notebook OS version is not included inside the option, while the latest version OS inside the list is Windows 10 Version 20H2 (64 bit). So I would like to ask that may I use the BIOS update file for Windows 10 Version 20H2 (64 bit) in my Notebook or got any other options for me to update my BIOS?

Hope someone could propose some solution to help me fix this Problem.

Thanks in advance

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

Installing the BIOS incorrectly can prevent the computer from starting or being recovered. To get the answer to this question, when a new BIOS update becomes available, HP Support Assistant can update your computer automatically. HP computers with Windows come with HP Support Assistant (HPSA) installed.

  1. In Windows, search for and open HP Support Assistant.

If the app is not installed on your computer, download the latest version from the HP Support Assistant website.

  2. On the My devices tab, find your computer, and then click Updates.

  3. Click Check for updates and messages to get the latest updates.

  4. Wait while Support Assistant works.

  5. If a new BIOS update is available, click the checkbox next the BIOS update and any other updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

  6. When HP Support Assistant finishes, close the tool.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
