OMEN Laptop - 15t-dh100 CTO
Microsoft Windows 11

I installed windows 11 on my OMEN Laptop - 15t-dh100 CTO before checking if there was a BIOS update; the one I have is from 7/2022 and the most recent one is from 11/2022. I noticed the windows 11 support center suggests updating the BIOS before installing windows11, should I go back to windows 10 and update the BIOS or update it while running windows 11?

Hi:

If it is not too much trouble to go back to W10, I recommend you do that rather than taking the risk of updating the BIOS using an unsupported operating system.

You could go back to W10 easily if you upgraded the PC to W11 within the last 10 days.

If not, it would take some effort.

If the PC is running fine on W11, you may just want to leave things alone.

According to the BIOS release notes, the update is not a critical one...just recommended.
