HP has removed the software & drivers page for the laptop I'm troubleshooting so looking to download the BIOS.
AMI board, 80AF currently on F.45

If you are getting that 'ACPI BIOS' error, updating the BIOS will not solve the problem.
See this discussion for how to get your PC to work again and if you want to update the BIOS to the latest version, you can, but it won't matter as far as the error is concerned.

Hi Paul,
I cleared & disabled TPM, the laptop is still in a bootloop.
Tried with original HDD and a brand new SSD which is installed at the moment.
I'm trying to boot for a clean OS install, have tried 2 USB's, with UEIF & legacy options.
With secure boot enabled, the laptop will just restart after selecting the USB, but with it disabled it will show the ACPI error.
Any other suggestions?
