Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I found my old HP EliteBook 2730p, but it has a password in the BIOS (I don’t naturally remember the password). How can I reset it?

Hi:

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to help you, since HP will no longer supply the required SMC.bin file that is used to clear the BIOS password.

That is the only way it could be done.
